The new Ride 6 Motorcycle Simulator Available Now

Welcome to my Ride6 Launch Review. Milestone has officially launched Ride6 on XBOX, PC and Playstation, and after spending over a week with the game, I’ve finally published my full, no-nonsense review on the Get Ben Riding YouTube channel 🎥🔥

If you’ve played Ride 4 or Ride 5 — or you’re wondering whether Ride 6 is actually worth your money — this is a deep dive from the perspective of a real rider, not just a casual gamer.

👀 First impressions – better than expected

I’ll be honest: before launch, I was sceptical 🤨

Milestone leaned hard into marketing Ride 6 around the new Ride Fest concept, and from the outside it looked like it might turn into a bike version of an arcade car game. That nearly put me off completely.

Thankfully, the reality is very different.

Ride Fest actually gives the game something previous Ride titles lacked — atmosphere, structure, and a sense of occasion 🎉Crowds react to what you do on track, events feel connected, and for the first time in the series it feels like you’re racing for something, not just ticking off menus.

🛑 Physics, braking & why Ride 6 feels better to ride

The biggest improvement in Ride 6 is the physics model, particularly under braking.

Milestone has clearly focused on:

  • 🧠 More progressive braking

  • 🦶 Greater rear brake influence

  • ⚖️ Better weight transfer

  • 🔄 Bikes that move, slide, and react more naturally

For the first time in a Ride game, you can genuinely steer with the rear without instantly being launched into orbit 🚀Tyre squeal finally gives you a warning before a crash, and haptic feedback through the controller is noticeably improved 🎮

It’s not perfect — and I go into detail on what still annoys me in the video — but Ride 6 is a clear step forward from Ride 5 in how bikes actually feel to ride.

🏁 Career mode that finally respects your time

One of my biggest gripes with previous Ride games was career mode.

❌Endless made-up cups

❌Riding stuff you didn’t care about

❌Forced bike classes

Ride 6 fixes that.

Career progression is now player-led. You earn XP, unlock new classes, bikes, and events based on the path you choose 🧭Early on you can jump straight into sportbikes, enduro, or baggers — meaning you can avoid entire categories if they’re not your thing.

It’s a much smarter, more respectful approach 👏

🏍️ Baggers, Enduro & Supermoto – the good and the bad

Ride 6 introduces two major new classes: Baggers and Enduro — and both are interesting for very different reasons.

👜 Baggers surprised me. They don’t just feel like heavy superbikes; they demand a totally different riding style, reward torque management, and allow proper bar-to-bar racing without instant crashes.

🌲 Enduro is… complicated. It’s fun, and it’s the first time a Ride game really lets you hang the back end out and get away with it — but realism is full of holes. No ruts, no dirt spray, no jumps, and very little surface feedback.

🔥 Supermoto has been improved and finally feels like it belongs.

🛵 Scooters, however… remain baffling.

I cover all of this in detail in the video — including setup tips so you don’t hate these classes immediately.

⏱️ Endurance racing – brilliant idea, half-finished execution

Endurance racing is one of Ride 6’s most enjoyable modes — if you’re willing to think tactically 🧠

Fuel strategy ⛽Tyre wear 🛞Pit stops 🔧Race length 🕒

When it works, it’s genuinely engaging. Making the wrong pit call can ruin your race, and outright speed isn’t enough on its own.

But once again, Milestone trips over the details.

Dynamic weather doesn’t go far enough 🌧️AI strategy falls apart in changing conditions 🤖Wet racing on slicks feels far too forgiving 😬

It’s another example of a great idea that just needed more polish.

❓ So… is Ride 6 worth it?

If you want a motorcycle simulation game, there isn’t a better one available right now 🏆 Ride 6 is a big step forward in:

  • ✅ Playability

  • ✅ Atmosphere

  • ✅ Physics

  • ✅ Career structure

But it’s still plagued by the same frustrating issues Milestone has ignored for years:

  • No surface interaction

  • Missing visual feedback

  • Half-finished systems

Most players will love it ❤️Most riders will still find things to complain about 😅

And that’s exactly why I made this review.
