Yamaha has unveiled its next-generation MT-125 for 2027, bringing sharper styling, revised ergonomics and a fresh dose of MT attitude. It looks good, there's no denying that, but with the outgoing model costing an eye-watering £5,300, I can't help wondering whether Yamaha has completely lost touch with the very riders this motorcycle is supposed to attract.

Just when I was beginning to think Honda had forgotten how to surprise us, it announces the 2027 CBR500R FOUR. A brand-new, 72bhp, high-revving inline-four sports bike with E-Clutch, a low seat and some seriously tempting specifications. I genuinely didn't see this coming, and I reckon it could be one of the most entertaining motorcycles Honda has launched in years.

The 2027 Honda CBR600RR has arrived, and I'm torn. On one hand, it's still one of the most capable and competitively priced supersport motorcycles on the market.
